Indoor Air Quality

August 1st marks the start of National Wellness Month.
While taking care of yourself this month is important, something you may not think of is how the inside of your home may be affecting you.

According to the EPA, indoor air quality could be more contaminated than outdoor air. Poor indoor air quality could cause various issues such as biological growth, excess dust build-up, mildew, or illnesses.

As an Indoor Air Quality Specialist, it is our job and mission to help combat these issues both when they start and after they have begun.

DUCTZ Indoor Air Professionals and NADCA recommends having your ductwork cleaned and inspected every 3-5 years and cleaning and inspecting your HVAC Unit every year. Making sure you change your filter monthly is highly recommended, too (rule of thumb: change your filter every time you receive your light bill).
